isn't it the BEST when they make up their own stuff and play independently??

oh, and for those of you doing "school" with preschoolers...
we did the funnest (i know that's not a word, but i use it all the time) thing for school this morning.
got our little tub of wooden blocks with a letter on each one.
they each got a piece of computer paper and a pencil.
i held up a block.
joshua had to tell me the letter and then try to write it.
lots of "success" and "good jobs!" for him.
bailey just scribbled mostly.
and i think we all thought it was fun.

love her road - we have made so many roads in our house and they are all sooo fun!!! great idea with the blocks - i bet he LOVED it! we'll have to try it with jacob this week!
we did something new for school today too!
we pulled out and blew off the dust on our hymn book and I picked three songs that we will 'dwell' on until we need to move on - they LOVED it!
it set a great tone for the rest of the day.
