got this shirt for Sawyer in the mail yesterday (got it off Ebay for $2!) cute, huh?
and while i was at it, love the feet!
first of all, i LOVE this little boy. he is so cute. i am truly ENJOYING his newborn stage. which i don't normally do. and was one of my biggest prayers when i was pregnant with him. (it helps that he's only waking up once in the night again!)
whew! it's been quite a week! so much fun...special people!
but we're all a bit of a mess. i'm emotional (missing the sweet friends i got to see, didn't get as much sleep as usual), my kids are arguing like CRAZY, rebekah has an attitude and a half, pat and i haven't gotten to talk much, messes and projects are piling up around here (and in my head) and that makes me crazy.
and we're headed out of town for the weekend. but as a family. for a "family retreat" with our church. it's something new they are trying. i'm looking forward to it. i've packed about 20 outfits for sawyer (how many outfits do you need for a newborn?) i've packed 3 books for me to read (why? i don't know.)
oh, and i really need to break my candy addiction if i'm ever going to lose this baby fat. but that's something i'm going to worry about next week.

Ohhh, he is adorable. What precious feet those are. Isn't it so wonderful to enjoy the "newborness" of your Sawyer. I am so thankful your heart and mind is on that. I understand. Love those little feet!!! So nice that you are enjoying this stage, as exhausting as it can be, it's also really precious. Newborns just don't stay that way for long!
