i got to spend 8 hours with 3 of the most precious friends to me.
last week, becca (who lives in TX!!!) emailed us up here in virginia and said she was coming to baltimore and could we get together on Thursday??
seriously!!! YES!!!
so, Ali drove up from Richmond, Mary came over from nearby and we had a glorious day together.
i have lots of other pictures of the kids (Ali has 2 boys, Mary has 1 baby boy, and, of course, my 4 kids) together...playing...eating...
but THIS is what the day was really about...friendship.
long before kids (or even husbands for that matter!) were a part of our lives, these girls were the ones that i went to in life-for encouragement, for accountability, for laughter (and LOTS of it!) there were 8 of us "Barn House girls" - and we wished Michelle, Kate, Kathy, and Christy could have been here. but to have 4 of us together so "spur of the moment" was so fun.
i am so thankful to have spent a day with my friends. thanks for making it happen, girls!

What?!?! SO FUN! Om my gosh, so wish i could have been there! Sounds way better than the Thursday I had at work. Love you all. And Courtney, thanks for updating your blog so frequently. It is such a treat to read every day at the 10 minutes I get to have lunch every day at my desk. I love it!
