Cecil

this is my great-uncle Cecil (and my aunt Lynne with Bailey on her lap)

this was the last time we saw him in their house. last summer we saw him - but he was in the hospital.

Cecil is with the Lord now.

my grandparents (my dad's parents) passed away years ago. i knew them...but was young when they died. Cecil and Louise kind of became our grandparents. they lived 2 doors down from where my grandparents lived. we spent many Christmas celebrations with them. Cecil had the BEST hugs (almost as good as my dad's - the kind where you feel like you might not be able to breathe). Louise is THE most encouraging person to be around. they both love the Lord and loved us so much.

this is the funeral we're going to tomorrow. we're actually just going to the viewing tomorrow night (the funeral will be sunday afternoon). it's going to be a long day. but we can't imagine not being there for Louise and my dad.

Cecil will be missed greatly - but he was in a lot of pain the last few years and i'm so thankful that he can breathe freely (he had emphyzema (sp?)) with his Lord now!
