she still follows me everywhere.
she doesn't watch tv or a movie. she doesn't let me take a shower by myself.
she seems to have a fear of being left (although we've never forgotten her anywhere). anytime i go down the stairs, she wants me to wait for her. doesn't want to be left. and if i head out the door to start loading stuff in the car - she cries. she says, "don't leave me!" really, i think she's afraid of being left. that makes me sad.
but she's content as long as she's beside me. with her hand on my leg. and some moments it's maddening. but mostly i try to cherish it. because i know one day i will miss it. a lot.

It's hard, especially when we are under pressure to have that little one "tagging" on. I use to look behind me when walking "anywhere" and see 3 little ducklings constantly following!!! As they got older I'd say wait here just one minute & I'll be right back.....nope...the ducklings followed. You are right, the day will come that you will miss that tremendously! I do!!!
It's the constant battle - trying to CHERISH these moments of them being constantly underfoot or attached to us, rather than just annoyed about it!!!
