waited in the lobby til about 7:30 am (til my parents got there to take over the kids!)
i was making all the nurses that were coming in for the new shift VERY nervous
went into triage. i was 5-6 cm dilated.
got into a room and settled around 8:30 am. still 6 cm dilated.
got epidural (YEA!!!)
by 9:15, feeling very uncomfortable. by 9:30, NEEDED to push.
dr on his way. he ran in, and i pushed 3 times and little Sawyer Patrick Cassada was born at 9:54 am.
8 lb, 1 1/2 oz
20 1/2 inches long
he's the cutest thing EVER!
SO excited not to be pregnant anymore!!! this is about 3 minutes after he was born.

pat and i haven't quite known what to do with ourselves this afternoon. we just keep staring at him and can't believe how blessed we are. a few minutes ago pat said, "it's like a date night...except not." this is a very sweet time for us.
thanks so much for all your prayers over the last couple weeks. i know i've been awful.
we are so thankful.

oh courtney and pat, i'm sitting here crying my eyes out. he's so precious. that picture of the 6 of you is so incredibly sweet and cute! enjoy your time at the hospital only having to take care of 1 baby! how easy!!! :) i can't wait to meet sawyer!

Seriously - only you could look totally beautiful and peaceful right after delivery! :) He is BEAUTIFUL - I absolutely can't wait to get my hands on him! I am SO glad he came on his own and everything went so well. Your beautiful family of 6 - I LOVE it!!! The girls look excited beyond belief, and FINALLY - Joshua will have a teammate in the house now to contend with all you girls!! I love you - and am SO excited for you! Luke, our 3 yr old, is in Sunday school with Bailey. I was showing him the pictures and he declared "Beddy (Bailey) has a new baby!"
