i'm crazy...but it kept me sane

it went something like this...

a couple days ago a neighbor mentioned how they were going to the county fair this week. hmm...wouldn't even think about it with a 1 week old.

a sweet friend brought dinner over this afternoon and mentioned how they were going to the county fair tonight. hmm..pat's not going to be home til 9 tonight and i'm going crazy here in this house. is this a good idea??

a neighbor called and asked if we wanted to meet them at the county fair and she would help with the kids. she called at 5 pm. by 5:30 we were in the car, dinner in the kids hands, and we were on our way!

i know, i'm crazy, but i needed to do it. and it ended up being fun. and the kids are all in bed (well, except for Sawyer) and pat just got home.

I saw Remy in the crowd but not you. That would have been a sight. Our kids loved the rodeo. Glad you went.

welcome, offically, to the "things you only do for sanity when you have four or more kids" club...it's a blast! (and you get used to the shock from others very quick)

It is so wonderful that you had time out of the house and that the kids had such a great time! We love you! Christy

YES - you're crazy.... but you have to do what you have to do, right? Sometimes it's about keeping the other 3 distracted and happy - and you and Sawyer just along for the ride! :) Good for you!!!! It's almost the weekend!

I love reading your blogs! They are so down to earth and honest. You are a very brave young woman but I so admire you for that. I'm so thankful that the Lord placed you & Pat in Jeremy & Christine's lives. What great friends they have.
