first farm delivery!

got back from our little walk to this on our front step! we will get a box full of fresh produce every week through the fall. fun, huh?

not sure what in the world i'm going to do with all that kale, but i'll figure something out!

really, i'm a "city girl" that wants to be a "country girl"...can you tell??

Everything looked good to me...except the kale! I've never been much of a "greens" person - collards, kale, ugh! I like baby spinach for salads, but that's about it!!!

That is SO COOL! I just read about lots of families doing the farm share thing. Nice that you have access to one. I hope you'll share your kale recipes.

Oh cool! I am really interested in seeing how this all works. I think we'll definitely do it next year. We thought about it this year and it would have been perfect if for some reason the farm went along with what fruits and veggies were supposed to be introduced to babies each week. haha! That would've been cool- "Here's squash and carrots- feed this to your baby this week. Next week we'll try green beans for you to puree." :) Looking forward to your updates- have fun with your fresh produce!!!
