last day of 1st grade...
i am loving watching this precious girl become who she is. not to say there haven't been frustrations, or tears, but i'm fighting for her heart with all i have. for her heart to be tuned into the things of God and not the things of the world. she's amazing. she's so confident. she's so strong. i'm so proud of her.

now i get her for the whole summer! yea!

Your precious firstborn ~ Rebekah! What a gift from God she is and Papa and I are so proud of her AND you and Pat for the great parents you are.....learning with the first child....as we all do. What a precious heart she has, by the grace of God and lots of blood, sweat and tears from you and Pat. Congratulations Rebekah - i can NOT believe you are now a second grader!!!
I may be a little biased (it's the grade that I teach), but I think 1st grade is such an amazing year. They change and grow so much! I can't believe you are just now finished, though. When do they start in the fall?
