i spent the morning at my friend, Megan's, house. i've known her since we joined our Shepherd Group almost 9 years ago! neither of us had kids at that point. we've gone through a lot together and have been blessed to see each other most every Tuesday night for the last 9 years. since she's been home with her 2 kids, we've regularly gotten together one day a week...right now it's every other week (that's all i can handle.) it's always a blessing to me to be with another mom that loves the Lord like she does, that loves her kids like she does, that loves her husband like she does, and that loves me like she does. it was a perfect morning to see her!
but i'm still crying...

You crazy lady...who would have ever known that you have been crying a lot today? I really enjoyed our time, but I feel like maybe I needed to dig a little deeper with you today. Watch out for me tonight! LOL!
So glad you got to get together with her - sometimes it's just so nice to get together with another mom, have some grown up conversation, and hear that they have the same struggles!
