our Memorial Day weekend

saturday morning, pat and i went in different directions. he took the kids to the farm to pick strawberries. i went to meet 2 friends from college for lunch (a nice, long, leisurely lunch!) mary, obviously, is pregnant (due in 2 weeks with her first! i think i look more pregnant than her.) ali said she likes standing between us for picture ;-) it was great to catch up!

as i've already said, this little boy lost another tooth at the farm. here's the missing spot. you can tell in some of his words that he's missing another one. he's such a trooper.

sat nite we had one of pat's co-workers and his wife over for dinner. it was a nice night to get to know them "outside of work."

a friend took this at church Sunday morning - since we matched :-)

sunday, friends that we've known since college came over for the day. it was so nice to catch up with all of them. we ate lots of yummy food, talked a lot, laughed a lot, the kids played GREAT together. our hearts were full at the end of the day - very special friends.

eating watermelon!

they put on a "show" for us - it was them dancing to music. so funny!

cupcakes and ice cream...(see, i told you lots of food!)

the young's (Brian, Peyton and 3 month old Caroline)

Derrick, Becca, Keirsten, Turner, Grayson, and 2 week old Page
i hope i spelled Keirsten's name right - i can never remember!!!

Sunday night:
my sister, Hannah, came over and spent the night and the day with us on Monday. it was great to hang out, catch up, talk. she's the best - sister, friend, aunt.

sunday afternoon we even made our first trip to the pool! the water is freezing, but the kids didn't care.

my body hurts from all that fun visiting/eating/catching up this weekend. but, it was so special - each and every person we got to see is such a blessing to us. my body will recover (hopefully soon!) and my heart remains full from the weekend.

Hey, I recognize that Forgarty lady. I watch Mr. Mason every week in nursery.
