"new" frames

this was before...

this was after.

we have 3 walls of pictures in frames like this as you go down the stairs to the basement. they start with pat and i before we had kids and go up to (fairly) recently (i'm not great about getting the kids' pictures taken...) anyways, all the frames are just mis-matched - whatever i had or whatever i could find that was the cheapest and i thought it looked wierd. my friend, colette, gave me this idea to spray paint them all the same color. i like it. it doesn't make a HUGE difference. pat looked at me like, "you are so stressed out right now, and you did THIS???" but it was one of those things i HAD to do and now it's done! and i just needed to know it was done.

by the way, thanks to many of your encouraging words, some sleep, and some good time in the Word, i'm feeling a bit more "even" today. a little less like i'm going to explode into tears at any moment.

oh, and i got to hear this precious baby's strong heartbeat this morning at the dr. - that never ceases to stop me and make me so thankful for this blessing growing inside of me!

LOVE the new frames - gives it a nice, together look. I got an idea from a friend years ago for something similar - I started off only buying silver frames for all of "those" pictures - so now all of my frames on THAT wall in the hallway are all somewhat matching. Love it!

And I'm so excited about tomorrow. So glad you got to hear that strong heartbeat again today - sometimes that really helps with perspective, right? :)

Its the little things that seem so big right now!!!
For example, my house is in complete disaster mode - but I felt really really good this morning because I cleaned all the mail off my dishwasher. Seriously, that could keep me going for days.
