when pat and the kids picked strawberries last saturday, they came home with 11 pounds of them!!! this was the end of them at dinner last night. and i didn't do anything "creative" with any of them (preserves, etc) - we just cut them up and ate them for every meal for a week! YUM! we did have quite a few get togethers last weekend that helped us go through them faster. we're headed back to the farm on sunday for more!

what farm do you going to? we love strawberries too. my girls can eat a pint each in one sitting and still beg for more.

We have SO enjoyed them - I have bags and bags of them in my freezer and made a great recipe today with them (oreo cookie crust...) - if it's yummy, i'll post it!
