fish out of water
yesterday was such a fun day. one of the ladies that i run (ran) with turned 50 a few days ago. we all took her out to lunch. all 7 of us together...WITH makeup on! it was so fun. Remi watched my kids (thanks!) and off i went. when we all walked into this relatively "nice" restaurant, we walked in like aliens in a new world. it was hilarious. we don't get "out of Ashburn" very often. we sat there for 2 1/2 hours - talking and laughing. and, over 24 hours later, i'm STILL not hungry! i didn't eat dinner last night or breakfast this morning...i did eat a little lunch today. crazy! i guess there's just not much room in my body for a REAL meal! i've missed those ladies and it was fun to catch up!

That's hilarious! Anytime Stephanie & I see each other (she's the one I run with at the Y once a week), we both comment on how lovely the other looks - because we ONLY ever see each other all nasty & sweaty from running! What a fun outing for you all to get together again! :)
