i seriously had the best day ever. it involved swimming, chick fil a diet coke, ikea, hanging out with my sister (Hannah), sitting at Barnes and Noble and looking through books, grocery shopping by myself, many phone messages/emails/ecards/cards waiting for me at home...along with my family that were already bathed and ready for bed and had dinner ready!
and these beautiful flowers from the ladies that i run with!
and, after we ate dinner, my family sang happy birthday to me and we had ice cream cake from Maggie Moo's - did Pat do good or what???
and to top it all off, this was one of my gifts from him...(it's a necklace with each child's name on it)
i so enjoyed my day to think and ponder and sing at the top of my lungs (in the car, of course) and shop a little and enjoy the sunshine. i am very thankful to my husband for all he did to make it happen.
they had a great day here at home - lots of yard work done, they went and ate lunch with Rebekah at school. i'm not sure they even missed me ;-)
i feel like a different person than i did 2 days ago. thankful for refreshment and rest.
off with my kiddos for our fun day!
more later...
