Rebekah is on her first field trip today. i don't want to forget her excitement this morning. she was up and dressed early. she was reminding me of all the things i needed to remember for her (bag lunch, etc.) They are going to a farm and it's an all day trip.
she gave us all hugs at the house so that she wouldn't have to in the car and "take longer"
as we were driving up to the school, she said her heart was beating REALLY fast because she was so excited.
we were a couple minutes early and were sitting in the car. she wanted to get out before they were supposed to. i said no. but i opened the door so she could hop out as soon as the school doors were opened.
once the doors were opened, she hopped out and didn't look back. she normally waves and blows kisses. we were immediately forgotten about today. LOVED seeing her excitement! can't wait to hear all about it.
and, yes, i'm hating that i'm not there. i can't stop thinking about her. but i thought i'd have a hard time being on my feet ALL DAY - and finding someone to watch Joshua and Bailey all day was going to be difficult also. i'm thankful she never even asked if i was going. i might have had to change my mind...
