“When you pray do not try to express yourself in fancy words, for often it is the simple repetitious phrases of a little child that our father in heaven finds most irresistible."

Saint John Climacus

i find myself praying, "Lord, help..." these days as i am overwhelmed with parenting.

i find myself today praying, "Lord, please..." as i pray for a friend's greatest desire to finally be happening.

what are you praying today??

it's true...as a parent, you don't care if your child uses eloquent words to express hurts or fears or loves or excitement - you just want them to come to you with those words - I think it's the same with our Father. Simple. Yet real.
