spent the WHOLE day on the beach yesterday. it was nice. a bit windy, but so fun. Bailey still wasn't feeling great. she slept for close to 2 hours in our arms. i have to admit, i loved it. it was so fun to hold her. we just kept passing her back and forth and the other one would play with Joshua and Rebekah.
we needed a change today. it was still super windy, and even chillier. and we (mostly I) didn't feel like listening to the complaining on the beach. we went to the pool for a bit this morning. they rented a movie for the kids. we watched the movie, played games, colored. took naps. then (pat's FUN idea) went to the Melting Pot for dinner!!! the kids thought it was really fun. going to a restaurant like that AS A FAMILY is something we haven't even been able to consider for years. we can tell our kids are getting older...i know, i know, it's all going to end in 4 months. :-)
and then another fun walk on the beach. the wind has died down so we're hoping for another day on the beach tomorrow.

So glad to see some cute beach pictures!!! I ALWAYS love the pictures you take of you and Pat on the beach - they are just always so cute! And the one of the girls watching Joshua...so cute. I'm sure Melting Pot was FABULOUS - haven't been in years, and certainly not with the kids. Your kids ARE getting older to be able to sit through a dinner like that - you're right...enjoy it now while ou can! :)
