pretty sad around here

"Casting all your care on Him, for He cares for you. Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world. But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, afer you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you. this is one my favorite prayers in the Bible. i thought it was ironic that it talks about "the devil" - the real devil is much worse to deal with than the flu. but, thankfully, with our God, He can conquer BOTH devils!!!


this was 2 separate times that Bailey just fell asleep this morning - once in the car (filling the prescriptions - thank goodness for drivethru pharmacies!) and the other just on the couch. so sad!

i'm not quite sure what's up with this guy. i do know he feels awful and he's super pale and hot. he's on tamiflu just to be safe.
