my favorite hour of my entire weekend was when pat left for his football game and took Rebekah and Joshua with him. he had to be there an hour early. i stayed and held Bailey and she fell asleep in my arms. i just say there and looked at her and prayed for her and cried and rubbed her little hands and arm and head. it was THE BEST. the only good part about her being sick.
it's mostly what i've done today so far - hold her. she can hardly walk. and she's uttered maybe 4 words today. she has kept down all the water and the 3 crackers she's eaten so far. but she looks so pathetic. today has been hard. joshua feels fine - i can't justify just letting him watch TV all day (which is what he'd be more than happy to do). so, i go back and forth between this...

and this - having to sit Bailey on the couch and play with Joshua for a little bit. it's working out ok. it's just been hard. i realize how much they really do play together. joshua's a bit lost. and i'm getting nothing done. but i really don't care. i just want this little girl to get better.

I read this earlier, but didn't get to comment. I'm hopeful that she has kept her food and water down today and maybe she's finally going to be making her way back to the land of the living. Sweet about Joshua missing her to play with! Keep holding her...treasure that...even if it is because she's sick!
I am so sorry Courtney, I am still praying! I remember Eli threw up for 5 days straight and I didn't think that was humanly possible. So sorry!
