like Sunday afternoon

i always get sad/mad/moody on Sunday afternoon - knowing the weekend is about to end and "real life" will start all over Monday morning.

this afternoon is the ultimate "sad Sunday afternoon". i have to start thinking about packing our stuff up, etc.

Pat said earlier today, "Do you feel better than before?" i thought he meant than a couple days ago when i was in a wierd mood. he meant from before we left on vacation. i told him i can't even remember being stressed before we left! isn't vacation amazing??? barely more than a week ago i was beyond stressed with sick kids, to do lists coming out of my ears. and, here, i can't even remember it.

Pat also said that he's looking forward to a couple days at home before he has to go back to work. well, the second we walk through the door i'm "at work" - so i don't feel the same way.

BUT. we ARE going to make the most of the rest of this afternoon and evening!

it's been sunny and beautiful today so we're headed back out now that everyone has had naps...
