chilly but still fun

from our "devotion time" this morning - isn't that the cutest??

i know i've posted a picture like this before. but, seriously, Bailey ALWAYS has her hand on you if she's sitting next to you. it's so sweet.


so, my parents are down here this week too. they are staying about 30 minutes north of where we are. they came down this morning and spent the morning and lunch time with us. it was so fun to see them while we're all on vacation!

we played in the pool and lazy river, then walked up the street to a cafe for lunch.

this is my dad with Rebekah and Joshua. it's just plain chilly here. which i'm getting a little annoyed about because one of my favorite things in the world is to sit in the sun and COOK. but, it's still so great to just be together. and i'm not just saying that.

one of the best parts so far has been all the hugs and hand holding and kisses and just TOUCHING between us and the kids...it's nice to have the time to give to "little" things like that.

LOVE the hotel we're staying at. they've renovated since the last time we were here - it's SO perfect for families - the indoor pool and all. and there's a FULL, HOT breakfast every morning that comes with your room (not just cereal and bagels - eggs, bacon, biscuits, YUM!)

BUT...WHY does our room only have 1 towel bar?? every day i have 5 wet bath towels and 5 wet beach towels to get dry. it's maddening!!!

hoping for a little warmer weather tomorrow. joshua is getting pretty ticked about not being able to play on the beach "for a long time" - as opposed to just walking out there for a few minutes and coming back in because we're freezing. (his mom is right with him - i need some good beach time!!!)
