Cary and Leah were supposed to come Fri night through Saturday evening so Leah could go to Peyton's baby shower on Saturday. Leah came, Cary was sick. i had a blast with Leah - and so did the kids. she is one of the best people to talk to - so encouraging and sweet. and so very helpful - she helped me prepare the food for the showet! she ran with "the ladies" on Saturday morning - we did a little over 7 1/2 miles. it was a very hard run for me. i'm wondering how much longer i'm going to be able to do those long runs.
Peyton's shower was Saturday afternoon. so fun to celebrate their baby that could be born any day!
Sunday was mostly a family day - which was wonderful. and i got my hair chopped off - not sure i like it...and then Brian (Peyton's husband) came over and watched the Super Bowl with us and we ate lots of food covered in cheese. yum!
so, there you have it. our weekend.

My runs yesterday & today were hard too...but I don't have the pregnancy reason - i think it's from all the food I ate in Williamsburg this weekend!!! Baby showers are always SO fun!
PS - Did Pat enjoy any of the superbowl? Since it should have been his Cowboys instead of the Giants???
