"Even when reading is impossible, the presence of books acquired produces such an ecstasy that the buying of more books than one can read is nothing less than the soul reaching towards infinity... we cherish books even if unread, their mere presence exudes comfort, their ready access, reassurance."

A.E. Newton

Kelli's going to love this quote!! You know her fixation on books - reads EVERY Night regardless of what time it is, or where she is...she even read in Williamsburg with two babies crying in their cribs...the rest of us were trying to pretend to be asleep in the pitch dark so the babies would sleep, and there was Kelli with her booklight!!!
