Mr. Buddy Wood is in the presence of His Saviour. Wow. I have mentioned him a number of times in the past year. He has been battling brain cancer and went to be with the Lord a couple of hours ago. a glorious day for him, a sad day for the rest of us. truly a man of grace, humility and strength. these are words from his caring bridge website from almost a year ago...
Imagine that first waking moment after brain surgery. “Blink” – your eyes open. Then you begin the eerily-interesting process of discovering what the new you will be like for a while. Rich time!
As rich as that time might be, it will be nothing compared to what it will be like to open our eyes for the first time on the other side of eternity. “Blink” – your eyes open. And there is The Lord in His Glory and Holiness. What will we do? From Genesis to Revelation, scripture says that men and angels have fallen on their faces in worship at the first sight of Him. So the apostle John: “When I saw Him, I fell at His feet like a dead man. And He placed His right hand on me, saying, “Do not be afraid; I am the first and the last, and the living One; and I was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore, and I have the keys of death and of Hades.” (Revelation 1:17-18)
there is no doubt in my mind that he heard the words, "well done, my good and faithful servant." what a glorious homecoming that was, i'm sure.
our thoughts and prayers are with his sweet wife (Penny) and children (Wesley and Wendy)

my heart is broken for them...i cannot even begin to imagine...
but it is also rejoicing that buddy is singing praises to our heavenly Father face-to-face! :)
I know what a party it must be up there for Buddy and Jesus - to be singing and carrying on together!!! We are so sad here, but rejoicing that his journey is now complete.
