well, we survived. it was a fun day. Bailey finally started feeling better on the afternoon of Christmas Eve, but we didn't get to go to our gathering with Pat's extended family. that was sad. anyways, Bailey's back to full force...full voice, full questions, full energy. we're glad to have her back!
this was THE big hit
a happy man - cooking his bacon
rebekah cooked the eggs!
our yummy breakfast!
Merry Christmas!
Bailey opening her book (each kid gets a book, an outfit (or just a shirt), and a toy)
Pat's parents came over for dessert last night. we were thankful they were willing to come into our "sick house". it was a fun time!
honestly, i'm glad Christmas is over and we can move on. i just had a hard time getting into it all this year, i was way behind the whole time, too much pressure to do it all, and i'm glad it's over. i kept apologizing to Pat for my horrible attitude. i knew enough to know my attitude was awful - but i just couldn't get out of it.
moving on...

how funny, I felt the exact same way this year. Jake was gone but I usually do ok even still.
we also only do 3 presents each for our kids!
I'm glad it's over too.
come on new year!!!
So sorry that the plans were changed a bit, but I'm glad that at least she was better by Christmas. We do the three Gifts of a Magi too (except for this year with Disney being Christmas), and it's really helped simplify. Your breakfast looked yummy - can't believe Rebekah did the eggs!
