i've had a lot of awesome runs for lots of different reasons - how i felt, who i was running with, seeing a beautiful sunset...but this morning takes the cake i think.
as i stepped out of my front door to meet the ladies, the first snowflakes were falling. it snowed the entire time. i even ran 15 minutes after everyone else stopped. i just couldn't stand it. it was so beautiful...so quiet...it was inviting me for some "one on one" time with the Creator that made this beautiful snow.
it's just been a light snow. i was hoping for a snow day to spend with Rebekah but they went off to school. it was a fun walk to school...the excitement in these kids faces is precious. Joshua and Bailey keep going to the window and looking at it falling. it's so beautiful!
unfortunately, i talked to pat a bit ago and it's taking him FOREVER to get to work...frustrating for him (and all the other people on the road!) us Northern Virginians DON'T know how to handle snow.
anyways, we're having fun here at home, pat, if you want to turn around and join us :-)
