i was curious how FAR i was swimming when i go do my laps. so, i googled it. (don't you LOVE google??) i've been swimming 30 laps (which is 60 lengths) about 3 days a week. when i looked it up, 34 laps is a mile! so...this morning i did 34 laps! i swam a mile! it takes a whole lot less time to RUN a mile...
oh, and on a side note, that little cartoon thing on the right side of my blog, "Countdown to Christmas", used to be so cute - now it just makes my heart skip a beat and i glare at it.

Wow Courtney! That is so great! I bet you never thought that those few laps this summer would lead to a gym membership so that you could swim three days a week! Great job.

holy cow...can't believe you can swim a mile!!!! it definitely helps to know how far you're going i bet. I never asked about what your new schedule is...when you go swim vs. running, etc.
