World War II couple kissing in Times Square

this couple kissing was on the cover of Time Magazine in 1945...and is now a famous statue. my parents got to SEE the woman of "the couple" by the World War II Memorial this past weekend. click on "Mom and Dad Smith" on the right of my blog to see...so amazing! and appropriate this Veteran's Day...
