finally - some pictures

enough of my "talking" and thoughts and quotes and stuff. i know you all love pictures ( i do too!) i've been slacking this week...still trying to recover...

so, here's our sunday afternoon...making caramel apples

this is how Pat watches the Cowboys...pacing, in sllence, until something either good or bad happens - then there is a sudden outburst.

can you see 'em?? the little handprints on the floor?? just a couple hours after i finished sweeping and mopping the whole main floor, i see this. at first my blood pressure rose. i mean, i try so hard to stay on top of keeping my house clean and it's impossible. feels like a losing battle. then my emotions totally changed. ONE DAY there won't be little hands all over every surface to make little handprints and i will miss it. so, i grabbed my camera (of course!) and took a picture so that i can remember. these days are full of so many seemingly "meaningless" little tasks. but i know, all together, they are so meaningful - the many questions i answer, the faces i wipe, the kisses i blow. i'm so blessed and so thankful.

i still haven't cleaned up the handprints - they are too precious to me now :-) (they'll get cleaned up eventually - either intentionally, or by so many sock feet walking over them that they get "cleaned" that way)

met katy and her kids at the mall today. they are in town because her sister is running the Marine Corp marathon this Sunday. LOVED seeing her! played at the lego store in the mall - the kids had a blast! katy - WHY didn't we get a picture of us??

the girls (minus rebekah - who was at school)

love the pics and the "push it out". paige says "potty right NOW please!" too cute! what is your trick for getting the caramel to stick to the apples? mine never sticks and just comes off the apple in a big glob

I absolutely love carmel apples. I have not had them in ages! I may need to make some. It looks like the kids enjoyed them.
