rebekah's school had a "family skate night" at the ice rink up the road. we ALL skated and had a blast! i managed to summon up enough energy to have fun for a couple hours.

bailey and joshua on the ground. rebekah's "back" is very sore today - from how many times she fell. pat and i held joshua and bailey up, so they didn't fall very often.

and then we came home and put the kids in bed and the Young's came over for dessert (that they brought - YUM!) and just to catch up. a fun evening.

i'm still feeling pretty bad. just no energy. couldn't really sleep with all the coughing so that doesn't help. have a throbbing headache from all the coughing. i'm just thankful this happened on the weekend. i've really been able to just take it easy since pat is home. i'm dreading tomorrow...but hopeful i'll feel a lot better.

Man how fun is that!!! I haven't been ice skating in years!! I've heard that the one here in our city lets the kids use buckets to push around to help hold themselves up. I'd probably need one too!!
