we're doing ok. not really fun for either pat or i. he's in pain. i'm back to having no extra "helping" hands when he's home. and i was just getting used to some help (since he's actually been getting home before the kids are in bed the last couple weeks!) at least this recovery should be shorter than the achilles tendon one. he's holding out hope that he'll play in his football game on saturday. no comment from me. he was able to sleep pretty well last night which is wonderful for him.
he's off to work. i'm off to clean and then my mom comes over to hang out!

See what happens when I don't check in a few days? I check in and find out about serious injuries!!! I'm so sorry to hear about Pat - I'll be anxious to hear how he's feelign in the next day or so. Tell him NOT to play this weekend - he can sit on the couch and watch football or something! UGH!
