this morning, we were sitting in Cary's car (me, Cary and Leah) while Veronica was loading Annie's bike on her car and Cary said, "When we were at JMU together 9 years ago, did you ever think we'd be sitting here at 5:24 am heading off to a triathlon together??" NO WAY! i would have laughed my head off!
so, first of all, Cary WON the whole thing! pretty amazing, huh??

this is starting on "the run" - this was the hardest part - i couldn't feel my legs, feet, toes AT ALL for the first mile.

Great job Courtney!! How did the swimming portion go? Did you get to pass anyone in the pool? I'm so glad you passed the camera to someone else....I wouldn't have been suprised if you had taken your own pictures during the race! ;)
