this is Bailey's birthday canvas. i've done this for each child when they turn 2. people that know her well enough were asked to give me a word that describes her...and this is the result. thanks for the words everyone! you captured who she is very well.
i can't believe she's 2. she is a joy to me. she lights up a room with her smile...and she often has one. she is either intensely happy (most of the time) or intensely unhappy (a little of the time.) she's not often in between. she LOVES to watch and be with rebekah and joshua. they are so loving and patient and protective of her. she is a very "cared for" little girl. i love her smile. i love her chunky legs. i love her long, curly hair.
Lord, thank you for the precious daughter you blessed me with 2 years ago. Thank you for each and every day I've had with her so far. Thank you for who she is...how she is so uniquely different from my other 2. Thank you for the smiles and joy she brings to my days. I pray, Lord, that she would come to know you at a very early age. I pray that you would help me to be the mom she needs me to be. Give me the wisdom and patience and strength (i pray this sentence hourly in my life...). Amen.
