sacks and breaking the rules

pat's parents took rebekah and joshua to a library "event" and out to lunch this morning. bailey and i headed to the mall (after a couple boring errands). the plan in my head was to go to the mall, shop peacefully, find a GREAT dress on sale (because all the summer stuff is right now), eat a fun lunch out and come back home so happy and refreshed. guess what? the only dresses out there look like sacks! i mean, i'm glad the skimpy no-material stuff is out, but i'm not trying to look BIGGER than i am. and that's what those sacks do. so, came home empty-handed...oh well. the peaceful part?? no way! bailey wasn't into it. and so...

i gave up early and bailey and i have had some fun at home - just the 2 of us. this is how she gets to eat lunch when it's just "mom and me." i know, i know, she could fall. it was fun. and i didn't spend money on lunch (pat is smiling.)

and she's normally not left alone long enough to do something like this. i was checking email and this is what i found 5 minutes later. a BRAND new roll, totally unraveled. what fun!

the older kids should be home any minute...

Too hilarious! I'm glad I'm not the only Mom who's kids end up on the table sometimes (or counter!) Too funny!! Sorry about the dresses - I don't know how anything could look bad on you, but I know what you mean about the sacks!!! I don't get it!
