here we go!

we leave in a couple hours. everything is packed...just the little last minute stuff to do. looking forward to enjoying the morning as a family before we split up. i have a huge knot in my throat as i anticipate leaving my kids for 5 days...not that they won't be in GREAT hands, they just won't be in MY hands. but this is good for pat and i . and i have a huge bubble of excitement in my stomach for the time i'm going to get with my husband to BE, to TALK, to (hopefully) sleep in past 6 am. anyways. we'll be back wed nite...
