we removed this tree yesterday. once pat had cut quite a few branches off of it, he heard lots of little "chirping" noises...there was a nest of new baby birds in it!
we successfully moved it to another tree and "mama bird" found her babies shortly.
here's the after...we planted a japanese maple today. it looks so much better!
and this was my mother's day gift...a hibiscus tree in my favorite color - the yellow with pink in the middle.
