headed to wal-mart (to get batteries for the smoke detector) and then to the playground and a picnic. i think i get more as much if not more excited about fun days like this than my kids do. being a mom is so fun! i get to eat my lunch with sticky jelly hands on my leg, ants crawling up my shorts, and adorable faces looking up at me. does it get better than that?
the kids are still sleeping. i slept for a little bit. now to get some "chores" done. although it's hard to be motivated. it's only 73 degrees outside...but it's 82 degrees in my house...i'm sweating before i even get started!
