this one's going to be random...so get ready.
took this hilarious video this morning..a 19 month old shouldn't be able to walk this well in high heels. sorry i keep forgetting NOT to shoot these in vertical position because i can't figure out how to change it...
took this picture this morning. what in the world is it of? well, it was 43 degrees when i got up at 5:30 to run...and was still 43 degrees 5 hours later when i took the picture. i'm so OVER all this cold, windy (and RAINY all weekend!) weather we're having. it's really starting to make me not fun to be around...
i CAN NOT get on top of cleaning my house. every week i determine that i WILL come up with a plan and start it "on Monday." well, i can't tell you how many Monday's have gone by with NO PLAN. i do clean, but it's random. i feel very out of control. i "subscribed" to this website where they send you "chores" to do for 15 minutes every day and it helps you stay on top of things. well, today's was, "clean the stove fan for 15 minutes" - is it bad that i don't even KNOW what a stove fan is?? obviously, i didn't clean it.
that's all. happy friday!

I think the stove fan is just the thing that sticks out over your stove....you turn it on when you're cooking something smelly. Don't know if I could spend 15 min cleaning it....but I'm probably missing something!
Bailey does walk so well in those shoes! Better than I felt walking in my 3-inch heels I borrowed for Mike's school "Prom" recently. :)
Hi, this great blog is currently posting about tackling spring cleaning!

"k" - who are you??
Hi Courtney,
Check out flylady.net about daily cleaning routines...she has a whole system for doing things..one day a week you bless your house...I do mine on Thursdays...then she has other daily routines that don't take much time so that the weekly house blessing is pretty easy...load of laundry every day, swish and swipe bathrooms every day etc..then they assign 15 minute missions everyday like the cleaning the stove, cleaning out a drawer, cleaning a closet etc. It is very helpful. I think we all struggle with this...I know I do.

Hi Courtney,
I think this is something we all struggle with. It has been a conversation we have had on many early morning runs. I finally came to the realization that the only way our house would be clean from top to bottom all at once would be to hire a cleaning lady. I know it take a chumk of our budget but I feel so much better when I come home and it is done. I know at least once every other week my house is clean!
Sorry Courtney, I'm Kristen Seaman from RBC nursery committee...i apologize for being a blog stalker :) you had sent your blog link out on an email and it's been fun to see pictures of your kids, your new home and fun ideas you have for the kids! Have a great day!
