tip tuesday

ok. i have this friend (it's the craziest thing...i knew her when we were like 4 years old and have just recently found her blog - we haven't seen each other in years) that has started a "tip tuesday" on her blog. just sharing basic tips we all as moms/homemakers/etc have discovered and can share with each other. i love the idea and would love to hear as many tips as i can! if you have a great tip to share, post it in a comment. and be thinking about your tip for next tuesday! :-)

here's my tip for today...i saw a consumer report on the news yesterday about which ziploc bags are the best. i always buy "no name" ziplocs and have never had a problem. anyways, this girl did a very scientific experiment to test 4 brands: Glad Double Lock, Hefty One Zip, Ziploc Double Zipper and a no name brand. the no name bag leaked THE LEAST!!! amazing! you can check out the report here: http://www.nbc4.com/consumer/11176416/detail.html
