renovation

i've decided that i want to re-do the main bathroom in our house. once i decide something like that, it's ALL i think about...what color? what will go on the wall? new mirror? etc.

so, i woke up this morning completely consumed with my "renovation." as the day went on, i realized that there is a much more important renovation that needs to take place. rebekah has become very "sassy" - rolling her eyes, talking with an attitude. and, like most of the things we see in our children that we don't like, the majority of it she's gotten from me. so, i need to work on renovating her heart - to be kind and respectful...my heart is heavy...the bathroom can wait...
